Das DJ-Duo bewegt die Wiener Clubszene mit Swing, House, Electronic
Bolek & Lolek, the duo infernale with roots in Warsaw and Cracow, is roughing up the Viennese nightlife for almost three years now. They first met each other while they were crawling through the mud in camouflage uniforms and dashing through the area with a tank together. The idea for their joint project occurred to them during the countless nights they spent in the legendary “Rote Bar”. They haven’t found a better place to throw the first own parties neither. Their own event “Klub Farbfernseher”, translated “club color TV”, has quickly made a name in the Viennese club culture.
The two guys, who have their melodic name stolen from a known Polish comic book series called “Lolek i Bolek”, have been experimenting with their sound a lot during the last few years. Their style has changed, they reinvented themselves but still remained faithful to some things. They gradually bowed out their initial mix¬ture of swing and house, in order to strike new electronic paths as part of the “Prasselbande” Artist collective. Because now other people have gotten wind of the fact that the two boys have some skills, they have become residents at club “Bande à Part” and “Dusch Dich”, where they are dropping fine tunes all the time.
